Conference on the project “Heritage of the Sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska on the UNESCO route”
Yesterday (i.e. March 24) a conference was held on the project “The Heritage of the Zebrzydowska Kalwaria Sanctuary on the UNESCO trail”.
The Sanctuary’s Custodian welcomed the numerous guests and gave the floor to Fr. Dr. Cyprian Moryc, OFM, who presented Kalwaria Zebrzydowskie – the heritage of universal culture. The values of the world heritage site were introduced by Ms. Barbara Furmanik and Ms. Anna Marconi-Betka of NID. Art conservator Dr. Krystyna Koziel explored the topic of Region, tradition, culture – pressure or whisper in conservation in great detail. On the other hand, his son, Piotr Koziel, interested the audience in the mechanism of the formation of dampness in the walls of the chapels, giving the conditions for repair.
Fr. Tarsycjusz Bukowski, OFM – Spokesman of the Sanctuary – moved on to the details of the project itself and its assumptions. Finally, the floor was taken by Mr. Andrzej Domanski – Chairman of the Board of Directors of INVENI Sp. z o.o. Sp. k., who spoke in an extremely interesting way about the partnership of the EEA-funded cultural project, the participation of the local community, the new cultural offer, the planned training and educational opportunities).
