Each year, the unique charm and atmosphere of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska attract more and more pilgrims and tourists. This place, full of architectural values, has been the object of interest of scientists, artists, reporters, writers, photographers, art and architecture enthusiasts for many years.

Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is a unique cultural monument where the natural landscape was used as an environment for a symbolic representation of individual stations of the Passion of Christ and the life of his mother, Mary, in the form of chapels and roads.

The project “Heritage of the Sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska on the UNESCO trail” is co-financed under the EEA Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021.
