The New Jerusalem

Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is called the New Jerusalem in Poland. It became a model for other Calvaries founded in the 17th century under the care of the Friars Minor of St. Francis.

The project “Heritage of the Sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska on the UNESCO trail” is co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021.
