A well-thought-out composition

The Calvary complex is a well-thought-out park and landscape composition. The Lord Jesus’ Procession service, modelled on the ceremonies in Jerusalem, developed during the first years of the Calvary’s existence and is still the main form of Passion devotion at Zebrzydowska Calvary. The rite began in Pilate’s Palace.
