Historical Monument

The landscaped Mannerist ensemble of Pilgrimage Park has been a Monument of History for 22 years. The boundary of the historic complex includes 44 architectural objects, located on an area of 160 ha. It runs from the Bernardine Monastery, the main church and the former Czartoryski palace, then in an easterly direction to Brody with the Mount of Olives and the castle in Lanckorona, then west to the bridge over the Cedron, then to Bugaj with Mount Sinai, up to the castle in Barwałd and back in a north-easterly direction to the Mount of Olives and the monastery.

The project ‘The Heritage of the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Sanctuary on the UNESCO Trail’ is co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
