The view of a building specialist

Mgr inż. arch. Bartosz Żmuda from the Creoproject company in Wrocław provided an interesting insight into the viewpoint of a construction specialist in his presentation entitled: “Problems of renovation of historical buildings on the example of monastery buildings on Bernardyńska Street in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska”. He described how the buildings in question came into being and how this affected the renovation and reconstruction work he is currently carrying out. He also pointed out that the change of function from that of a former inn, e.g. as a gastronomy and lodging place, to a contemporary exhibition, education and museum had to be taken into account in the selection of means and tools in the process of reconstruction and renovation of these buildings.

All this during a seminar held at our premises for all those interested in what is new with us.
